Production & Ordering

Every piece is lovingly handmade by me and ships from Portland, Oregon. Current production time is 3 - 4 weeks and does not including shipping time.

Group Orders

• I encourage group orders for international customers as I offer free shipping for international orders over $500. Get your friends in on a group order and save some money! Use code FREESHIPPING-INTL at checkout.

• If you’re thinking of placing a group order where the leotards will all be the same style and color/s, please reach out beforehand so I can be sure to have enough fabric to fulfill the order in the time frame you need. Also, let me know if you’re interested in a print, as their yardage is limited and I want to be sure I have enough for your order. I am open to offering a discount, in addition to free shipping, depending on the number of leotards in the order. Send me a message here with any details about your order and/or questions you might have!

Shipping

& Payment

Accepted payment methods: VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and PayPal. Your payment method will be charged when your order is placed. An email notice, including a tracking number, will be sent when your order has shipped.

FLAT RATE $5 SHIPPING ON U.S. ORDERS. Packages are sent via USPS First Class Mail with a shipping time of 2-3 business days (may take a bit longer due to Covid-19 affecting the USPS).

FREE U.S. SHIPPING ON ORDERS OVER $175. If your total is over $175, enter code FREESHIPPING at checkout to receive the discount. Unfortunately, it does not automatically apply. 

FREE INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING ON ORDERS OVER $500. If your total is over $500, enter code FREESHIPPING-INTL at checkout to receive the discount. Unfortunately, it does not automatically apply. Orders will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail Express International with a typical shipping time of 3-5 days (possibly a bit longer due to Covid-19 affecting the USPS, as well as any processing delays in the receiving country).

All International orders under $500 have 3 shipping options whose rates range depending on the recipient country and size of the order.

• USPS First Class International Mail - approx. shipping time of 10-14 business days with a rate range of $14.50 - $24.00 USD

• USPS Priority Mail International - approx. shipping time of 6-10 business days with a rate range of $45.00 - $55.00 USD

• USPS Priority Mail Express International - approx. shipping time of 3-5 business days with a rate range of $58.00 - $65.00 USD

International customers are responsible for all taxes, customs and/or tariff fees involved with overseas shipping that could arise once the order leaves the United States. Customs policies and fees vary widely from country to country, so please reach out to your local customs office for more information.

Package tracking beyond the U.S is available to certain countries. Contact me to find out if your destination qualifies. 

All packaging is recyclable and also made from recycled materials.

returns

& Exchanges

I want nothing more than for you to love your garments! If there's an issue with your order or something isn't fitting right, please send me a message here or email me at contact@louiseapparel.com within 10 days of receiving your package.

All leotards are made to order, so they cannot be returned (unless there is a production defect upon arrival. See below.)

EXCHANGES

If there’s a fit issue, I can accommodate exchange within the same style/color; or if viable, a fit alteration can be made. Exchange on limited stock prints is subject to availability. 

Briefs and calf warmers may be exchanged for different sizes. Exchange on limited stock calf warmer fabrics is subject to availability. 

REFUND/RETURNS for production defect upon arrival.

Refunds are possible if the item has a production defect (which should be photographed, if possible, and included in your email sent within 10 days of receiving your package). Item must arrive to me unworn (un-danced in) and unwashed with original tags attached.

Be sure to take care when trying on items and wear undies or tights with leos/briefs. Deodorant, lotions/oils can also stain fabrics. Soiled or stained items cannot be exchanged/refunded.

Once you reach out and an exchange, alteration or refund is decided on, I’ll email you a return shipping label (at no charge to you). The polymailer your item arrives in has an extra adhesive strip and can be reused to ship the item back. Or for anything else you might be shipping! 

REPAIRS

If your item ever needs a repair, even years after having it (there’s an issue with a strap, zipper or a seam splits) please reach out, as I’m more than happy to make fixes and extend the life of your garment!
